This short course provides an introduction to the metrological engineer’s function at a certified company. It explains how to organise a metrology department, or how to structure, rationalise or understand an existing organization based on the requirements of the company’s normative reference system. This is an introduction to the metrology function in terms of quality requirements.
Anyone wishing to learn about metrology or brush up on their in-field knowledge.
No prerequisites (it would be helpful to have a working knowledge of the company and its quality environment)
By the end of the course, the participant will be able to assess the metrology system at their company, supported by the appropriate bibliographic references.
